The Hypnosis Centre

The Hypnosis Centre was established by Karen Rawlins to offer hypnosis and hypnotherapy in beautiful, safe, tranquil surroundings in Horsham in the heart of West Sussex.

Karen is an experienced hypnotherapist who over the years has developed an integrated multi-disciplinary approach to her work. At her Horsham and London clinics she combines hypnosis and hypnotherapy with solution focused strategies and utilizes a number of techniques, including EMDR, NLP and CBT. By using this integrated approach with a powerful yet relaxing state of hypnosis she can help you make the changes that you desire so that you can move forward with your life. She is also a qualified Reiki practitioner and CRB checked to work with children and vulnerable adults.

With a 2(i) Bsc (Hons) degree in Physiology and Biochemistry, from Leeds University, Karen worked for many years for a leading oil company, giving her an insight into the stresses and demands of the corporate environment. She knows from her own experience, and from many years of successfully treating patients, how effective hypnosis and hypnotherapy can be in helping us move on in our lives.

She holds postgraduate qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy from the London College of Clinical Hypnosis at Certificate, Diploma and Practitioner (with distinction) levels.

Karen is a full member of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis and she is a hypnotherapy course tutor and supervisor for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis. This is the only organisation (in partnership with the University Of West London) providing training and qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy to a Postgraduate / Masters level in the UK and, to the best of our knowledge, the world.
